New patients
Your first visit, step by step
A first visit takes about an hour.
Step 1: Request a visit
Use the form or call us. Tell us a good day and how you'd like us to reply.
Step 2: We check your benefits
If you have dental insurance, we check your plan's benefits and tell you what it says it covers before you come in.
Step 3: Fill in your forms
Health history and consent forms live in our own secure patient portal, not on this website. Paper forms are at the front desk if you would rather.
Step 4: Your exam
Your dentist examines your teeth and gums, takes X-rays if they decide you need them, and tells you what they found.
Step 5: Your plan in writing
You leave with a written plan and estimate for any treatment, and time to ask questions before you decide.
Fill in your new-patient forms
Complete your health history before you arrive. The forms open in our own secure portal.

Before you come in
What do I bring to the first visit?
Your insurance card if you have one, a photo ID and a list of the medicines you take. If you have recent dental X-rays, bring them or ask your old office to send them.
Do I fill in medical details on this website?
No. Our contact form asks for no medical details. Your health history goes on the forms in our secure patient portal.
Can you get my records from my old dentist?
Yes. Give us your previous practice's contact information and we will request your records, with your written permission, before your first visit.
Ready to book a first visit?
Tell us a good time and how to reach you. We will take it from there.
